3.1 How do I create and manage Groups?

This guide provides instructions on how to set, edit, and delete groups for your contacts in Regards AI.

Setting Groups

  1. To add a contact to a group, go to the Contacts page and open the contact card.
  2. Click the Add to Group button on the contact card to continue.

  1. You can now give the group a name that you want.
  2. For example, you can name it Colleague, Lead, Friend, Vendor, or Past Buyer.
  3. Next, turn on the Frequency toggle to decide how often you would like to stay in touch with this person.
  4. You can choose from the following options:
    • Every week
    • Every two weeks
    • Every month
    • Every quarter
  1. Selecting a frequency helps Regards AI send you timely reminders under Today’s Priority, so you never lose touch.
  2. Click on Create group to save it.
  3. After saving, the group name will appear on the contact’s card and will automatically update your priority reminders.

Editing the Group name

  1. If you would like to make changes to an existing group name, open the contact’s profile.
  2. Click on the group name displayed on the card.

  1. You will see a list of the groups you have created. Click the three dots next to the group name to open more options.
  2. A drop down menu will appear with two options: Edit group and Delete.
  3. Click Edit group to make changes.

  1. You can now rename the group name to something that fits better. After updating the name, click Update to save the changes.

  1. Then click Assign group to apply the updated group to the contact.
  2. The contact’s profile will now display the updated group name.

Deleting a Group

  1. If you would like to delete an existing group, open the contact’s profile.
  2. Click on the Group name displayed on the card.

  1. Click the three dots next to it. From the drop down options, select Delete.

  1. You will be asked to confirm your decision. Click Delete again to proceed.

  1. The group has now been successfully deleted. Once deleted, the group will no longer appear on the contact’s profile or in your suggestions.
