3.2 How do I edit or update contact details?

In this article you will learn how to edit or update your contact details.

Edit contact details

  1. Go to the Contacts page and click on the contact card to open the full profile.
  2. Click the three dots in the top-right corner of the contact card.

  1. From the menu options, click Edit Contact.

  1. You can now update the same fields, including name, company, role, phone number, email, LinkedIn profile, bio, industry, and education.
  2. Once you have completed your updates, click Update, and the updated details will immediately reflect on the contact’s profile.

Adding Custom Fields

  1. If you need to store information that is not included in the default fields, you can create custom fields.
  2. On the Contact Information page scroll down and click Add new Field.

  1. You will see suggested field types such as Address, City, Twitter, and more. Select the field and fill in the information.

  1. The new field and its details will now appear on the contact’s profile card.
  2. You can add more fields if needed, and once you are done, click Update to save the changes.

  1. If you want to add a new field that is not in the list, click Add new field

  1. Enter the field name you want to create in the search bar.

  1. Type the field name and click New field.

  1. Enter the value for the field. (such as “English” under Languages Known) After entering the information, click Update to save.
  2. The new field will appear on the contact’s profile, and you can enter the value you want to store.

Note: However, avoid adding sensitive information such as passwords, financial details, or private identification numbers.
